Common questions about the MCP connection.
Batch Banana uses MCP, the Model Context Protocol, to give AI apps access to its creative tools. Add https://mcp.batchbanana.com/mcp to a supported app and sign in; no API key is needed. Claude Code and Codex are also supported. Setup and availability vary by app. See the connection guide.
Generate images and videos, reuse library images as references, and edit images in bulk. You can also turn an existing image into video. Paid edits accept up to 40 images per request; supported free bulk edits accept up to 256. See the tools and limits.
Connecting, browsing models, searching your library, and checking prices are free. Generations and paid edits use your connected workspace's credits at the same prices as in Batch Banana. Ask your app for a price before starting. See credit costs.
Results go to your Batch Banana library and to a project if you name one in the request. Your AI app may display them inline or as file links. Coding agents that can run commands can download the files into your codebase. See using your AI app.
It can generate, edit, search, and import images, and create videos in the workspace you authorize. It cannot delete your work, access other workspaces, or manage your account or billing. Disconnect it under Settings > MCP. See connection permissions.
