Soft pastel drawing on grainy paper: chalky color laid in soft, blended passes, with the paper tooth showing through as fine speckle. A quiet palette of hazy blue, lilac, pink and peach with muted greens. Diffuse, gentle light with no hard shadows. A very simple composition with a low horizon, few elements, and open sky taking most of the frame.
