Polish School poster: one bold symbolic image on a large field of plain color, made from flat cut-paper shapes or loose, visible brushstrokes. Only a few colors, such as black, red and blue on cream, olive or black grounds. Hand-drawn or condensed lettering placed freely in the empty space. Matte printed paper, visual wit and generous negative space.
