Tilt-Shift Miniature AI Generator

Make towns, ports and offices look like scale models: tilt-shift photos, dioramas on a base and model-railway layouts.

A harbor town seen from a hillside in tilt-shift: rows of red, blue and white houses along a curved waterfront road, toy-sized cars, fishing boats at a stone pier and tiny people, the foreground and sky blurred
A floating chunk of rock topped with a snowy mountain: wooden chalets with lit windows, a gondola line with red and yellow cabins, tiny skiers on the slope and snow-covered pines, above a wooden table in falling snow
An isometric scale model of a startup office on a wooden base with two walls cut away: desks with monitors, a whiteboard of sticky notes, a coffee counter, potted plants, a ping-pong game and tiny figures at work

What is a tilt-shift miniature AI generator?

It makes scenes look like scale models: tilt-shift photos of towns and ports, dioramas on a base and model-railway layouts. You set the height of the camera, the band of focus and the colors, and the model shrinks the world. On Nano Banana 2.1 an image costs 10 credits. You can start for free.

What makes the look

Height, a focus band, color and a base

Tilt-shift fakes the shallow focus of a close-up on a small model. A diorama goes further and builds the model.

  1. Height

The camera sits high and looks down at an angle, as from a rooftop or a hill. Straight-on views stay full size.

  2. Focus band

A thin band of sharp focus across the middle, with strong blur above and below. The blur is what sells the scale.

  1. Color

Bright sun and boosted saturation, so cars, boats and roofs read as painted toys.

  2. Base

For a diorama: a wooden base or a slice of earth, cut-away walls, felt trees, static grass and figures as small dots.

A harbor town seen from a hillside in tilt-shift: rows of red, blue and white houses along a curved waterfront road, toy-sized cars, fishing boats at a stone pier and tiny people, the foreground and sky blurred

A tilt-shift photograph of a small coastal harbor town seen from a high hillside: colorful houses stacked up the slope, fishing boats moored in the harbor, tiny cars on the waterfront road and people as small dots on the pier. A narrow band of sharp focus across the middle, strong blur at the top and bottom, bright saturated colors and midday sun, so the whole town looks like a toy model.

An isometric scale model of a startup office on a wooden base with two walls cut away: desks with monitors, a whiteboard of sticky notes, a coffee counter, potted plants, a ping-pong game and tiny figures at work

An isometric miniature diorama of one floor of a small tech startup office, built on a square wooden base with two walls cut away: rows of desks with tiny monitors, a whiteboard covered in sticky notes, a kitchen counter with a coffee machine, potted plants, a ping-pong table and tiny figures working and talking. Photographed like a handmade scale model, soft studio light, shallow depth of field, plain warm gray background. No readable text.

A model railway layout: a red steam engine pulling maroon coaches over a stone arch bridge above a river, half-timbered houses and a church tower behind, tiny passengers on a station platform, painted hills on the backdrop

A model railway layout photographed up close: a small red steam train crossing a stone arch bridge over a river, a village of half-timbered houses with a church tower, felt-tuft trees, a station platform with tiny painted passengers and a painted sky backdrop behind the hills. Scale-model textures, static grass and flocked fields, warm hobby-room lighting, shallow depth of field.

A city intersection at dusk from a rooftop in tilt-shift: crowds on four zebra crossings, yellow taxis and lit buses at the lights, glowing shop fronts, the buildings above and the roof below blurred

A tilt-shift photograph of a busy city intersection at dusk, seen from a rooftop: yellow taxis and buses waiting at the lights, crowds crossing the zebra crossings, glowing shop windows and street lamps just switching on. A thin band of sharp focus on the crosswalks, heavy blur above and below, boosted color, so the street looks like a miniature model. No readable signs.

A floating chunk of rock topped with a snowy mountain: wooden chalets with lit windows, a gondola line with red and yellow cabins, tiny skiers on the slope and snow-covered pines, above a wooden table in falling snow

A tiny world built on a round floating base of rock and snow: an alpine ski village with wooden chalets, a gondola line running up to a peak, skiers as small dots on the slope, pine trees dusted in snow and warm light in the windows. The rock base is cut off underneath like a slice of earth. Photographed as a miniature diorama, soft blue evening light, shallow depth of field, plain pale background.

A container port from above in tilt-shift: rows of orange, blue and green container stacks, red and white cranes loading a cargo ship, trucks lined up at the gates, the far shore and near water blurred

A tilt-shift aerial photograph of a container port: stacks of red, blue, orange and green shipping containers in neat rows, tall cranes loading a cargo ship, trucks lined up at the gates. Sharp focus on a band across the middle with strong blur at the top and bottom, bright sunlight and saturated colors, so the port looks like a set of toy blocks. No readable text or logos.

How to make a miniature image

  1. Put the camera up high

Say where the camera is: a rooftop, a hillside or a crane. Looking down at an angle is what makes a street read as a model.

  2. Ask for a thin band of focus

Ask for sharp focus on one band across the middle and strong blur at the top and bottom. Without the blur, it stays a normal photo.

  3. Pick a photo or a diorama

For tilt-shift, keep the place real and boost the color. For a diorama, name the base, the cut-away walls and the studio light.
