# Privacy and ownership

Know who can see your work, what you own, and what happens when you delete it.

## Overview

The main points:

- We don't train AI models on your prompts, uploads or results, and the model providers we use aren't allowed to either.
- The people in your workspace can see everything in it. Nobody else can find your work in Batch Banana.
- You own what you make, and you can use it commercially.
- Your work stays until you delete it.

The rest of this page explains each point in plain words. The [Privacy Policy](https://batchbanana.com/privacy) and [Terms of Service](https://batchbanana.com/terms) are the formal versions.

## Training

We don't use your prompts, uploaded images or generated images and video to train or fine-tune AI models. To make an image, we send your prompt and reference images to the model provider you picked. Our contracts with those providers forbid them from training on that data.

## Who can see your work

Everyone in a workspace sees all of its images, video, prompts and projects. Keep client work in a workspace that only the people on that project belong to.

Your work is never listed, shared or shown to other users. There is no public gallery.

Each image and video has its own web link. The link is long and random, so nobody can guess it, but anyone who has it can open the file without signing in. Treat it like a file link from a shared drive: send it only to people who should see the file.

An AI app you [connect to a workspace](https://batchbanana.com/docs/connect/mcp) can read that workspace's library and prompts, and only that workspace. What you do inside that app follows the app's own privacy policy.

Our staff can access workspace data only on a need-to-know basis, as the Privacy Policy describes.

## What you own

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You own the images and video you make, and you can use them for any lawful purpose, including commercial work, as long as you follow the Terms.

Whether an AI-made image can be registered or protected depends on the law where you are. Another person can also get a result similar to yours, so we can't promise that yours is one of a kind.

Model providers apply their own content filters and can refuse a prompt. When a refusal means nothing in the request arrives, [the credits come back](https://batchbanana.com/docs/create/failed-generations#did-i-get-my-credits-back). The Terms list what you may not make.

## How long we keep things

- **Images, video and prompts** stay until you delete them or delete the account.
- **Your account details** are deleted or anonymized within 30 days after you delete your account, unless the law requires us to keep them.
- **Usage logs** are kept for up to 12 months.

## Delete your work

Delete an image from its menu with **Delete**. You can delete the images you made. A teammate's images are theirs to delete.

Deleting an image removes it from the workspace and deletes the stored file. A copy someone already downloaded is out of our reach, and a link that was already opened can keep working from a browser or network cache for a while.

To remove everything at once, an owner can delete a workspace from **Settings > General**. It takes the workspace's images, projects and credit history with it. Deleting your account, in **Settings > Security**, deletes your personal workspace and the images you made in other workspaces.

## FAQ
